The Band
Skivvy are a 7-piece ska/punk band who hail from Auckland, New Zealand. The band itself has been around for about 2 years, but most of the current lineup have only been together since July 2000.
Skivvy was formed by Al & Kev (who also happen to be brothers) in 1998, and have since had several personnel changes.
The current lineup is:
Tsering - Bass
Kev - Drums
Jude - Guitar & Backing Vocals
Will - Vocals & GUITAR
Ross - Trumpet & Backing Vocals
Braden (Vagas) - Trombone & Backing Vocals
Being a 7-piece band, we quite obviously have a lot of different influences, but we're mainly into punk (Rancid, NOFX, NUFAN, etc), Hardcore (Good Riddance, Sick Of It All), ska (Mad Caddies, The Specials, Catch 22), reggae (Peter Tosh, Bob Marley), and everything in between (like Poison and Twisted Sister). |
